Nurse LPN

Nursing assistants provide patient care and work with nurses, physicians and other health care professionals. ORDERLY (Personal Care attendant or patient bedside attendant)

An orderly provides basic care to patients. They are present with patients and provide physical assistance to help them recover or maintain their health. They are part of the nursing team and assist the nursing assistants. They communicate information about the patient's health and behaviour to the health care team.

The orderly assists patients in getting up, eating and going to bed. He/she assists with bathing, dressing and undressing and is responsible for bedding. He/she ensures that patients receive appropriate care and that their integrity and dignity are respected in order to contribute to their well-being.

Dining Room Attendant

Under the direction of the cook or sub-cook this position removes and places food and condiments in serving trays and brings them to tables or elsewhere.

- Prepares during shift for food and condiment placement and table service.

- Serves residents who are not self-sufficient or who request service in the dining room or other designated areas.

- Completes the required tasks at the end of his/her shift.

Laundry Attendant

The Attendant will be responsible for performing routine and special duties involved in providing laundry services. They will be required to properly sort, wash, dry and fold and to ensure that all linens, garments and articles meet the Logisanté standards. Laundry staff must adhere to all compliance regulations and ensure the laundry areas and equipment are clean and well-maintained.

· Load and unload commercial washing machines and dryers to clean and dry towels, garments, sheets, blankets and other articles;

· Fold personal laundry and bedding, and distribute into the personal laundry slots for residents.

· Vacuum and wash the floors in the laundry room.

· Assist with ironing staff uniforms, ironing skirting for tables and help to set the tables up for functions.

· Maintain the overall tidiness and cleanliness of the laundry area.

Landscaper

Carry out maintenance and repairs to common areas and recreational areas (pool, gym, etc.);

- Ensures the proper functioning of recreational equipment and appliances at all times;
